Pamela J. Phillips is a fine art photographer and digital artist from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Early in life Pam discovered her love of art, music, animals and travel. Hardly a day goes by that one of these does not play an important role in her life.
Originally majoring in Psychology, she later turned to her true passion for art, where she earned a digital design diploma from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, providing her with a strong background in the principles of visual art and graphic design. As a graphic designer, Pam used Photoshop extensively to develop and design marketing materials, but her love of art and travel opened the door for other artistic media, including photography.
As a digital artist, Pam enjoys the creative process of using artistic digital software to push her photographic images to another level, where each image dictates its own process and final appearance. She describes her images as Artography, a fusion of art and photography. Being both a photographer and artist, her work consists of a combination of purely photographic images, as well as, artsy, graphic and painterly styled images.
Passionate about sharing her love of art and creativity, Pam promotes and sells her work at fine art shows in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut and Virginia. She also attends professional photography conferences and creative workshops on an on-going basis, in order to grow as an artist and continue to hone her skills. Pam is honored to serve on the board of the Professional Photographer's Association of PA.
Having a creative soul is a gift she does not take lightly and sharing her view of the world through her images is one of Pam's greatest joys, along with her family, friends and camera-shy black lab Suni.
